“It requires strength, not weakness, to reach out for help when we need it”

It takes a certain amount of self-awareness to seek help when facing personal issues and it takes a tremendous amount of courage to realize life has become more than you can handle on your own.

At this point in your life, you may have been through what feels like countless therapists and you haven’t found the answers you are looking for; actually, you may feel more lost than ever.

You’re beginning to wonder, is therapy really worth it?

Too many people seeking a therapist usually make their decision based on what is made available to them through their provider or from a long list of names on a Google search. And their final decision factor is made by how many acronyms come after their name.

Very few, if any at all, actually take a therapist’s personal values and experiences into consideration when making the decision to hire one. But how about digging deeper into what personal struggles and experiences your therapist has had?

Additionally, having a clear picture of a therapist’s professional background, affiliations and credentials are imperative to ensure you’re in the hands of a professional.

Personally, my approach is a well-balanced and holistic one which embodies both my intensive professional training, as well as my personal struggle while navigating through the mental health system. By having these experiences, it gives me a unique perspective and helps me understand my clients on a deeper level.

My philosophy is that everyone deserves to freely give and receive love. However, along with the way, we sometimes forget that. We forget that we deserve love from our friends, family, partners, and especially ourselves.

I lead people into loving relationships by reminding them to love fiercely and soulfully, with a strong sense of self and healthy boundaries. I offer a unique way of looking at the problem, providing you with insights and lasting results.

Through one-on-one therapy, workshops, and community gatherings, I help clients navigate through life from an authentic place.

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a 3rd Degree Black Belt instructor in Judo. I am also a meditator, musician, and active community member.

My approach is to serve with integrity and compassion those in the LGBT community, hetero-individuals, couples, teens and those in non-traditional relationships.
